Kitty Jay became shameful and afraid, so she hanged herself in a barn (also in another version of the story, she hanged herself from her great kitchen fireplace lintel). She was buried at a crossroads. The remains of her body where placed in a coffin re-buried...
Every night, fresh new flowers are placed on her grave. It is unknown who puts them there. Motorists passing at night claim that they glimpsed ghostly figures in their headlights. Others day that they can see a large, black hooded figure kneeling over her grave. The legend is still unanswered to this day.
